Value Network is a non-profit organization run by young professionals which sets up hybrid networking events that form a perfect mix between work and play. We host innovative networking activities where you can learn and connect with interesting individuals in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

Our core team: Consists of young potentials who contribute to our vision and mission in their own area of expertise. Each team member is active in one of the three departments: HR & Operations, Events & Community, and Marketing & Sales.

Your role & responsibilities

As a volunteer, you will join our team in the organization and A to Z conceptualization of our events.

We value creativity, so your ideas will contribute to our growth. You will be given more responsibility as you progress, and once you are up to speed, you will be able to take on some of our projects and test your leadership skills.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has a proactive mentality. As a volunteer, you will strengthen the community team in brainstorming inspiring event ideas and communicating with our community. Some of the concrete tasks this translates to, are listed below:

Organizing both in-person and digital events
Oversee a community strategy to connect members and partners across various industries under one network
Communicate with our community throughout our social platforms
Project management and planning. Responsible for setting the standard and raising the bar for the ideation, planning, production and execution for our in-person & digital events.
Finance and budget for events. Contacting venues and catering services.

What we are looking for

We are a group of motivated collaborators (but you can call us friends 😉) and are looking for a passionate individual to strengthen our team. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the description below:

You are a bachelor’s / master's student preferably in marketing/communication or other related courses.
You have excellent verbal and written skills in English
You are flexible and thrive in a startup environment.
You are highly organized and have no problem respecting timelines and meeting deadlines.
You can work independently as well as in a team.
You have a can-do attitude towards challenges and love learning new skills.
You have a strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset.
